IBM introduced an open software for teaching AI on quantum computers
IBM technological giant has released a set of Qiskit Machine Learning application modules, which are part of its open source software software.
According to the developers, Qiskit modules can optimize machine learning through the use of quantum computers for some parts of the processing process of algorithms.
“Quantum machine learning (QML) offers new types of models that use the unique capabilities of quantum computers, for example, to work in the spaces of functions with a high dimension and increase the accuracy of models,” they wrote in their blog.
IBM believes that quantum computers will not replace existing computing architectures in the coming years. Experts expect that quantum processors will take over the calculations of narrowly focused tasks, which are artificial intelligence and machine learning.
For the first time, IBM presented Qiskit with open source code in March 2020 to make quantum calculations more accessible to developers. The company said that Freimvork can speed up the operation of some applications 100 times.
Recall that in January 2019, IBM introduced the first quantum computer of commercial purposes Q System One with a 20-cube system.
In March 2019, the head of the IBM blockchain control, Jess Lund, said that quantum calculations have a threat to digital currencies and cryptography.
